Sesame Street – Taking Care of Nature

Sesame Street is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary by encouraging an environmentally-friendly theme for it’s upcoming TV shows. With such live stage shows as “Elmo’s Green Thumb”, a major promotional campaign and TV show themes to instill in children a love and appreciation of nature, it definitely looks like the show is going in the right direction.

It was such a pleasure to have participated alongside the Sesame Street Halloween concert in Pasadena. For those of you who didn’t have a chance to read up on this wonderful event, please click the above link.

Today is the 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street!

sesame_street_friends

Wow, it’s hard to believe that Sesame Street has really been around for 40 years! There aren’t very many children’s brands/themes that are able to withstand the progression of the generations, but looks like Sesame Street has indeed passed the test.

It was fitting that the highly praised Sesame Street Halloween Concert which I had the pleasure of participating in, (see blog entry from 10/27/09) nearly coincided with this special anniversary.

Enjoy your day and don’t forget to take a moment to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street!

Sesame Street Character to Meet Danny the Dragon!

It is such a delight to know that the Count, from the Sesame Street that we all know and love, will be present for the “Sesame Street Halloween” family concert tomorrow night in Pasadena, CA.

Danny the Dragon (lovable character from my children’s series of the same name) will surely enjoy this introduction. And I hope that the 2,000 attendees will as well.

Time to get back to getting prepared for the event!
