CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
I spend a good amount of time writing books, CDs, a DVDs, a children’s book, a children’s book apps, and a fair amount of Gluten Free, Low Carb and Paleo diet eBooks and materials. I have been blessed with numerous awards for my titles. This was all quite unexpected and not my goal as a writer.
I currently devote most of my time working in kitchens developing recipes and out in nature. I am an avid hiker and love unexplored trails, taking in the fresh air and sights around me. I am forever learning how foods and plants nourish, heal, fortify and cleanse. Through my travels and research I meet incredible people and companies to share with my readers. My recipes are one or more of the following: grain free, paleo, dairy- free, low-carb or gluten-free.
I’ve been a key celiac advocate for several years therefore celiac disease and its various related subjects are dear to me. I have the auto-immune disease called celiac refractory as well as two of my three children.
AWARDS:
The end of 2009 I wrote my first children’s book, Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy, which took off like mad and won a number of awards, which are listed on the About Tina page. Apps were made of my book and Apple™ featured my title, as it was the first-ever app with sign language interpretation for the hearing-impaired and deaf. It was incredible experience. Apple™ then used my app in their advertisement releasing the Apple 2™. I also created a DVD and then produced my first-ever CD, Danny DREAMS with bedtime songs. It features incredible classical songs from up-and-coming composers. It was a lot of fun doing all of this and a real learning experience. I toured with my book and made incredible friends along the way.
THE PRESENT:
I currently have over 20 fully completed and yet-to-be-released eBooks, which are being released over the next two years. I am constantly writing and working on new recipes and mixes. I really enjoy what I do and those I work with and feel very blessed. I have a yearning to learn heart and mind and am constantly learning.
